It was during this trip that God completely changed my life. I was able to experience Jesus intimately when I had the privilege of hearing other people's life stories. As I heard about the most joyous and painful events of my peers' lives I was able to see how God had created these individuals. More importantly, as I shared my own joys and sorrows, I was able to see, for the first time in my life, that there had not been a single moment where God wasn't with me. I was able to see Jesus' love and grace in my life and it was because of that realization that I decided to surrender my life to Christ.

I'm in awe of how God used the 2023 Argentina trip so profoundly in my life. I was one of six men on that dove hunting trip. I connected personally with each one and my life is forever changed. 

•I adopted one of the men’s philosophies on finding a wife…8 months later I was engaged. 

•I connected with another man who invited me to attend an event for veterans. During that event, I found deep healing for my soul from trauma endured during a combat deployment to Iraq 8 years prior. 

•From another relationship came an invitation to a weekend event on the topic of biblical generosity. My entire budget and lifelong financial goals are different now (more in line with the heart of God). 

•I fostered an encouraging and life-giving relationship with another man who generously let me stay at his island condo on my honeymoon. 

•My father and I fostered a deeper relationship, experiencing more vulnerable connection and emotional intimacy.  

If not for the Argentina trip, I don’t know if I’d be married today; I don’t know if I’d still be carrying around war trauma in my soul; I don’t know if I’d have aligned my finances with the kingdom of heaven; I likely would not have picked the honeymoon destination that my bride and I enjoyed earlier this year; and my relationship with my father wouldn’t have developed as deeply as it has.

Venture ministries has opened a light into my life that has lead me to get into contact with my faith. From not having much of a faith besides prayer, Venture Ministries opened my ideology to more. Leading to a life long relationship with the Lord that is a working progress. Throughout my walk with Venture Ministries and the Lord so many opportunities have been presented for me. I was able to go to Costa Rica where I became close with friends that have the common goal of getting to heaven and drove a desire within myself to lean on the Lord. Carlo has been a huge part of my faith as God has reached me through him. I can honestly say that Carlo is a huge part of why I have began my walk with the Lord.
