The Bible is filled with examples of God using the outdoors to awaken our affections to God. Psalm 19 reads, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (ESV). The problem lies in the hardship of getting out from under the city lights and into spaces to experience the glory of God. As Romans says, “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” (ESV). Come with us to experience the nature and glory of God.

It was during this trip that God completely changed my life. I was able to experience Jesus intimately when I had the privilege of hearing other people's life stories. As I heard about the most joyous and painful events of my peers' lives I was able to see how God had created these individuals. More importantly, as I shared my own joys and sorrows, I was able to see, for the first time in my life, that there had not been a single moment where God wasn't with me. I was able to see Jesus' love and grace in my life and it was because of that realization that I decided to surrender my life to Christ.
